Meet Dr. McWhorter

ORTHODONTIST

Dr. McWhorter received her doctorate of Dental Surgery degree and her masters of Science degree as well as her specialty certification in orthodontics from Baylor College of dentistry in Dallas, Texas. She has been practicing orthodontics for 12 years with an emphasis on early treatment of children ages 6 to 10. She maintains active memberships in local and national dental and orthodontic professional organizations and attends continuing education courses throughout the year. Although she loves the results that can be attained with early treatment of young children, she also derives great enjoyment from helping create beautiful smiles for young adults as they mature from age 12. One of the rewards she finds most gratifying are the hugs from her patients and the opportunity to help adults who are parents and have decided to give themselves the gift of orthodontic treatment. When not in the office planning treatment and seeing patients, you will find Dr. Mac cycling, swimming, running on the trail, weight training in the gym, ballroom dancing, traveling or reading the latest medical mystery.
